Getting ready for Thanksgiving? Honor the Native Americans by adding a traditional squash dish to your family dinner!

Native People relied on many varieties of squash and this class will share several traditional recipes. Participant will learn about cooking the recipes and then get to sample each dish! Join our Education Director, Barbara Miller, as she features Three Sisters Stew (squash, beans and corn), Barbara’s Native Stew, and finally a wonderful side dish featuring squash, apples and maple syrup.

Participants will receive copies of all the recipes showcased.

Fee is $20 and includes admission to the museum
