12 August 2019; Code Talker Exhibit

We are so excited to celebrate!

Not that long ago, we asked all of you to help us with purchasing the code talker medals from the US Mint as a part of expanding the exhibit.

As of yesterday, we are able to purchase our last 7 medals!!!!

Special thanks to two lovely people from PA that are putting the Navajo medal in the name of Capt. P. Agnew.

Elizabeth Russell of Raleigh who has donated 5 in the name of military family members that will be announced at a later date.

And lastly, to a visiting group who have donated our last medal, the Ho-Chunk, in the name of William Kohut, Navy Corpsman WWII.

This whole exhibit is possible from help of people like you. We will be forever grateful for the help of everyone that was able to donate while the opportunity was available. Perhaps soon, we will begin an endeavor on another new exhibit that will be offering another chance to leave a lasting mark in helping us share the rich history of the Native people of our country!
