It is with great sadness that we announce the final journey (April 2, 2024) of our beloved friend and long-time board member, Jim Goes. Jim was an extraordinary man with a life-long commitment to helping others. Through his service in the US Army, Naval Reserves, and 25 years with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary he mentored countless individuals as an advisor and teacher. In that same manner, he spent his career as a consultant elevating the quality of life for thousands of people as he traveled the world working with indigenous communities to establish pharmaceutical facilities. Even in retirement he used his considerable talents for positive outcomes through community outreach. His generosity of spirit, his delightful wit, his profound wisdom, and his unfailing love for family and friends leave us with memories that warm our hearts as we struggle to find ways to honor his beautiful and amazing life.
