Our Summer Classes are ALMOST OVER! Class will always be on Friday up through September 2nd, but you will have the opportunity to speak with our presenters throughout the day! Please follow THIS LINK for the full schedule and availability for each class.

Look at the fun we’ve had already!

Meet Amber Roth & Learn Feather Painting & Sand Painting

Meet Amber Roth – a talented painter, beader, carver, sculptor, and digital artist. She will be demonstrating her craft throughout the day, but stop by at 11am to do a sand painting or 2 pm to join her workshop and see a simple feather become a piece of art.  Learn how to take unusual mediums and turn it into cool art that you can take home! The workshop is included in museum admission; however, there will be a modest charge for supplies if individuals want to paint their own feather or make their own sand painting

Meet Barbara Miller & Learn a Native Game

Meet Barbara Miller, a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and Wea.  Barbara creates beautiful pottery, jewelry, beadwork, and printart.  Stop by to see what she is making and join her  special class at 2 pm where you will learn the amazing game of SEENSEEWINKI – a fun contest of skill for the whole family.  You will even have a chance to compete in a “tournament” and win a prize!   And as an added bonus, you’ll be able to make your own game when you go home.
