30 August 2021; Week Long Admission & Covid

Did you know…..

That your admission covers a whole week?! We know that there’s a lot to see inside and many visitors have stated that there’s just not enough time in one visit to take it all in. So we’ve offered for a very long time the opportunity to come back during your week!

Whether you’ve got a strict schedule and need to catch the ferry before making it to every room or just want to come back to the gift shop, just come back and see us!

Maybe you came with a group and the kiddos have been extended past their attention span and just want to go to the beach. Maybe after you left, you thought of a question that you want to ask our staff. Just come back and see us!

Come in early in the week and want to come back for our Meet the Artist days. JUST COME BACK AND SEE US!

But we do have one important change

With the steep rise in Covid cases and the increasing risk from the Delta variant, the museum is now requiring masks for all visitors above the age of 2 for visitation inside the museum.

We want to do our part to help protect not only our staff, but all of our visitors as well. The CDC, Dare County, and even the Chief of Staff at the Outer Banks Hospital has spoken up about the importance of masks in helping stop the most recent surge. So, as of tomorrow, we will be joining the ranks along side the Wright Brothers Memorial and the NC Aquarium in changing our policy and want to thank you in advance for your small part in helping reduce the impact of this pandemic.
