9 August 2021; Gratitude For An Emergency Substitute

We were so sorry to have to change our class last Friday from Bill McConnell at such short notice, but he was grieving the loss of a family member and we offer our deepest sympathies to him and his family.

One of our long-time volunteer that has recently turned local was willing to step in at short notice though! Gray, who has a book “Hope on Hatterask” available in our giftshop, came to sing a song in a language very close to what the original natives would have used and talk about life here one the island for the native people.

We’re so incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated and passionate volunteer as part of our team and overjoyed that all that attended the impromptu discussion found the talk fascinating!

Stop in and purchase a signed copy of his book and stay tuned for future listings of talks done by our indigenous local and friend, Gray!
