30 September 2019; More Dorian Volunteers

We got a pleasant surprise when a cleanup crew from College of the Albemarle arrived!

When the gatherings are held at the museum, the pavilion on our nature trail has always been an important place. Volunteers gather and hear the plans, lunch is served, and it is a great area for classes and demonstrations.

However, getting the museum itself up and running was our primary focus. By the time we got to a spot where we could focus on the trail, we were overwhelmed and exhausted! Then three lovely ladies swooped in!!!

Michelle Portoukalian, Hattie Peterson, and Koren Watson

Michelle, Hattie, and Koren just powered through getting everything out, sorted, and cleaned up back there! Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough. All of the volunteers we’ve had during this time have been complete life savers for all of us on the island here. So much love to all of those that have donated their time and effort.
