21 October 2019; MORE Fall Classes!

You may have seen our LAST POST about our Fall Classes, but we’ve added three more to our list! Make sure to go to our EVENTS PAGE to sign up in advance to reserve your seat as it is limited to ensure enough individual time with the instructors for questions.

October 26th

Long time Volunteer Don Lysell teaches an amazing class on how to set a stone in a bevel setting using silver and a torch.

Participants get to observe his work as he explains each step and the piece that is being used as a demonstration will be given away via Raffle among participants at the end of the class.

November 9 & 10

Two days of class, each class creates a different pattern so you may want to take both!

Participants need to know how to use a sewing machine and can bring their own if able.

Make sure to check the events page for more details on the different patterns being taught.

November 15 & 16

If you’ve been to the museum, chances are you would have met Amber Roth at the front gate. She’ll be holding 3 classes on how to do pine needle basketry!

Participants will get to make their own pine needle disk and learn all the skills to create one on their own.

November 23

What’s Thanksgiving without squash?!

Join our Education Director, Barbara Miller, as she shares recipe and cooking secrets of traditional Native recipes.

Participants will be able to sample each of the dishes being made.

November 26

Participants will be able to sample each of the recipes being demonstrated.
