Found on a canna leaf, this tiny male parasitoid was is incapable of stinging for two reason. The first is that it’s an ichneumonid which are parasitoids and have no stinger. The second is that this is a male, so even if it was a stinging species it would be impossible. There are white segments on the very long antenna. You can see the small thread waist segment that connects thorax and abdomen and yellow legs. But these wasps cannot get down to species identification without microscopic inspection.
