Aug 14 Primitive Tools and Weaponry

August 14 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free With Admission

Native American life required members to make tools for hunting, warfare, cooking, sewing, and various every day tasks. How were they made? What were they made out of? Join us with Thunder from the Eastern Band Cherokee of NC as he answers all those questions and more!

Learn about which tools made from wood, bone, and stone. Get to see fish hooks, fishing floats, eating utensils, garden tools, spears and more! Some of these items will even be demonstrated so you can see them being used!

Guests will have the opportunity to try their hand with blow guns and bows/arrows.

Two times will be available for this event, at 11 AM and again at 2 PM.
