The third annual Earth Day celebration is Saturday April 26 from 10am to 1pm at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building (23646 NC Hwy 12 Rodanthe).
Amber from the museum will be there to share about spiders, pollinator gardens, and snakes!
Come join us to learn more about gardening, protecting our environment and sustainable living.
Free activities include a plant swap, pop-up library, native-plant give-away and plant projects for kids. Enjoy music by Martin Somers and a grill item by Chicamacomico Banks Fire and Water Rescue.
At 11 am, Josie Walker of the Black Seed Saving Collective will teach us about saving seeds for next year’s crops, improving our resilience.
Community organizations including Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative, the Surfrider Foundation, NC Cooperative Extension and Master Gardeners will be on hand for information.

Reminder that this will not be at the museum, this will be at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building in Rodanthe.
