They have a colorful history and culture that dates back thousands of years! \nWhile it is known they are master wood workers that make stunning totem poles\, did you know they also constructed large houses and incredible art as well? Perhaps most impressive are the war canoes\, wooden armor\, and claim they traded with the Chinese before they ever met Europeans. \nAs Leandra lived in Sitka\, Alaska and worked with several Tlingit tribal members\, she brings her experience to the Frisco Native American Museum to share with you!
