27 June 2022; Passing of a Friend

Our beloved friend, Braxton Hall, departed on June 24, 2022, leaving a legacy of a life lived to the fullest and filled with acts of kindness and generosity of spirit.  For more than thirty years he supported the museum as a friend, volunteer, educator, cheerleader, and generous donor.  He had a positive impact on hundreds and hundreds of people and we celebrate his life with admiration for his amazing accomplishments and thankfulness to have shared his journey.   In his final days, a cherished friend sent Braxton a quote from Ariana Dancu that sums up his life:

He made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible.  He walked with the universe on his shoulders and made it look like wings.

Ariana Dancu

We send our love as he continues his journey.
