3 September 2018: Our Recent Tea Off

The Day Started Off Fantastic

Even before we got to the scheduled class time of 1:00, we had a few people coming to make sure they made it for learning about Yaupon with Anna.

With a mixture of locals and vacationers, it was starting out to be a lovely day as Anna got to know them and start discussing her journey to learning about the yaupon holly and making tea from this wonderful tree.

As The Day Went On, We Had a Full House!

We had a blast with a full room of visitors learning about all the fantastic qualities of yaupon tea and getting to try some that Anna had kindly brewed for them from local trees.

They were even taken outside to bring them to “meet” our yaupon trees that live on our nature trail and taught about how to brew it themselves!

We all enjoyed Anna so very much, we can’t wait for her to come back for our April Event with MORE YAUPON TEA!
