4 March 2019; Native Journey Head Dancers

As our Native Journeys Festival: Music and Dance 2019 is quickly approaching, we’d like to share our Head Man and Head Lady that will be leading the events in the dance circle!

They have celebrated our events with us on numerous occasions and we are overjoyed to have them returning again this year!

Mike “Thunder Dancer See’s The Ground” and Jeannie “E Nah Dah” Cranford are  enrolled members of the Cherokee Nation. For almost 20 years, the Cranford’s have participated as dancers in an average of 41 pow wows per year from Florida to Maryland – often serving as head staff or directors.  They provide educational programs for schools, clubs, organizations , local functions, and private events in North Carolina and Virginia. The Cranford’s have provided cultural consulting services in Virginia for seven years. E Nah Dah has served as a teacher/advisor for an online Native American study group for nine years.  Thunder Dancer is a member of the Native American Chamber of Commerce, E Nah Dah is former member of Triangle Native American Society and National Congress Of American Indians.
