4 September 2017; Smithsonian Museum Day LIVE!

Some things in life are free . . .

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, individuals will have an opportunity to visit the Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History Center with FREE admission. The museum will participate in the thirteenth annual Museum Day Live! presented by Smithsonian magazine. On Museum Day, selected cultural institutions and museums nationwide open their doors free of charge to Smithsonian magazine readers and the Smithsonianmag.com website visitors for a celebration of learning.

Attendees must present Smithsonian magazine’s Museum Day Admission Card or Virtual Admission Card to gain free entry to participating institutions. The card is available in the September 2017 issue of Smithsonian magazine as well as a ticket that can be printed from home or shown on a smart phone screen that is can be acquired by visiting the Smithsonian Museum Day Live! website.

Visitors to the Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History Center can also explore the nature trail which is available during day light hours. The trail includes a dugout canoe in progress and the start of our future longhouse.
