On a the end of a white cedar tree sits a common orange butterfly. The wings are closed so only the underside is vissible. The hindwings are pattered with geometric white segments inside the veins and can resemble stained glass. The top wings have a few black rings with white centers along the wing spine and a small collection of chunks of white along the top edge of the wing.
