Hurricane Matthew Recovery Update #6

Happy New Year!

As 2016 closes, we are taking the time to reflect on all the phenomenal progress that happened during our Volunteer Days in April and October. Then, we turn to the changes we slowly see unfurling while rebuilding from Hurricane Matthew. Though we may be getting a bit anxious for it to be DONE, what has been accomplished continues to be a beacon of hope for 2017.

Currently, we are celebrating being able to include a new addition to our existing military hat exhibit. The current display is being reorganized so there is space dedicated the to the Code Talkers and their invaluable service in WWII!

We are also in the process of rearranging the exhibits containing the local artifacts and the exhibits near the admission window! Continue to follow our Museum Mondays for more updates on our progress!
