Hurricane Matthew Update #7

We’re still planning a Gathering in April!

Though we are still ensconced in (and will be for quite a while) remodeling inside the museum from Hurricane Matthew, you may remember from a PREVIOUS POST that we are still planning to celebrate a Volunteer Days in April 2017. It will be very similar to the April 2016 Volunteer Days where we all join our efforts together to watch the village emerge!

So much progress has been done!

But there is still so much to do for it to be complete. Though, thankfully, not much was lost in the hurricane, we need to purchase materials to make baskets, mats, pottery, tools, and so much more! But as the video below states, this is just the beginning of a long endeavor.

Follow THIS LINK TO OUR GOFUNDME campaign and be a part of our project, no matter where you are! You can also find the widget on the right side bar of our website.

Keep up with our website and Facebook for updates on the progress of the village as well as opportunities to lend a hand!
